ASL Technologie A600 M.2 P/N NVME256GB-ASL-001  NVMe SSDs utilize PCIe sockets to interface directly with the system CPU. In essence, this eliminates the need for the SATA communication driver, which is far slower than NVMe, allowing flash memory to function as an SSD directly through the PCIe connections.
